This full day mixed media workshop is suitable for all teachers who have a passion to develop and inspire their students’ knowledge of techniques in drawing, painting and the use of a wide range of media. Primary through to secondary teachers will be able to select the subject for drawing that they feel most relevant to their year level, while we work steadily together on a set of wonderful resources to take back to the classroom.
You will be taken on a comprehensive journey of simple to advanced techniques to use in and out of the classroom, using a range of media including: charcoal, woodless graphite pencils, water-soluble graphite pencils, oil pastels, chalk pastels, ink, water-soluble markers, water-soluble crayons, water-soluble oil pastels, Vibrant water colours, Stay Anywhere Permanent Markers, Micador Aqua Painters and more… This is a chance to learn new skills while using traditional media in creative and exciting ways, allowing you to produce works that are beautiful and wonderfully surprising.
Building on a multitude of techniques and using a wide range of media, this workshop represents exciting skills that transfer effortlessly to the classroom for easy dissemination through your curriculum. A challenging, but fun and rewarding workshop, able to be adapted to all year levels. A must do PD!
