18 indigenous artists come together for this special exhibition alongside Jandamarra Cadd, Paul Calcott and Lyndon Davis. 'Hear my Voice' showcases our First Nation artists residing here on Gubbi Gubbi, Kabi Kabi Country.

Event ambassador Jandamarra Cadd says 'Hear my Voice' is an opportunity to connect these artists to a broader audience.

"It's also about presenting that visual voice ... whether it be derived from their traditional stories individual based pieces or something they feel passionate about," he said.

  • 30% of exhibited works sold in 'Hear My Voice' plus two prints were created for direct patron requests.

OVER 150 people joined us for the Gubbi Gubbi Celebration on Thursday, July 11.

Traditional Kabi Kabi Custodian Lyndon Davis shared stories of the Cooroy Region.

Visitors, many young families and artists,
learnt about local Kabi Kabi history, storytelling and language; indigenous perspectives of caring for country and custodianship; and the Bush Food Calendar.

The Gubbi Gubbi Dance troupe also performed traditional ceremonial dances with a Welcome to Country and Fire Lighting.

This event was made possible thanks to an RAF grant through Flying Arts.
